- 225g Unsalted Butter
- 300g Brown Sugar
- 100g Maple Syrup
- 1ea Egg
- 1ea Fresh Vanilla Bean
- 375g AP Flour
- 1g Corn Starch
- .5g Baking Powder
- .5g Baking Soda
- .5g Salt
Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl.
Add in the egg and continue to mix until smooth batter forms.
Add in the remaining ingredients and continue to mix. Do not overwork the dough.
Scoop batter onto a tray and bake at 320ºF for 12 minutes.
Finish with powdered sugar and try not to get it all over your kitchen!
