Tivoli Concert Hall powered by Electrolux

World-famous Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen has selected Electrolux Professional to suit the culinary needs of its new state-of-the-art Concert Hall.

Copenhagen’s world-famous Tivoli Garden, visited by 4.3 million people in 2004, undergoes several improvements. One of the most prominent will be its new Concert Hall.

Since 1843 the Concert Hall has hosted unforgettable concerts and performances by the world’s best artists of all genres. Some the finest jazz and classic virtuosos have recorded there too.

Tivoli Garden has selected Electrolux Professional solutions for its new Concert Hall because they match best its culinary service needs.

Six restaurants and bars
Six restaurants and bars will be using Air-O-Steam® combi-ovens, the unequalled Thermaline S90 modular cooking system and the reliable workhorse WT dishwashers.

The canteens will be built entirely using the new self-service line Fit-System.

The project worth 4 million DKK of Electrolux Professional solutions starts this fall and it will be finished in the spring of 2006.

“In close cooperation with our distribution network we will provide a turnkey solution, which in every respect exceeds the expectations of the discerning client,” says Lars Andersson, director of Electrolux Professional.

Denmark’s first Wagamama restaurant
As part of the culinary services of the Concert Hall, Tivoli has taken the initiative to launch Denmark’s first UK-based noodle-bar chain Wagamama, which tops the list of the most popular restaurants in that country.

“We have the pleasure to work out the right equipment solution in close cooperation with Wagamama’s management in Denmark and the UK,” says Andersson. “It’ll be an experience that we certainly hope to benefit from in the future, as we expect this successful chain to expand further in Denmark and Scandinavia.”

One more reason to visit Tivoli
"People from every corner of our world agree that there are always many good reasons to visit the beautiful, romantic and historical Tivoli in the heart of Copenhagen," says Andersson.

"Next year there will be yet another great reason for beginners and Tivoli addicts alike: the new Tivoli Concert Hall gastronomically powered by Electrolux."
